Running 50 miles (80K) for Laura Lynn in June
This June, I’m running 50 miles/ 80k to raise funds for LauraLynn, Ireland’s only Children’s Hospice. I’m taking on this challenge for children with life-limiting conditions, and their families, and would be grateful for your support.
As a care assistant in the disability sector and a third year intellectual disability nursing student, I’ve had the privilege of seeing how important compassionate care is for children with life limiting conditions and their families. As someone who only began running in 2024 setting the challenge of running 50 miles (80k) to raise funds is very nerve wrecking!
Your donation, big or small, will help to ensure that children and their families receive the care they need at all stages of their journey - from provision of specialist therapies, short breaks, to end-of-life care and bereavement support.
