I'm fundraising for LauraLynn by taking part in the Press Up Challenge this November

This November, I’m taking part in the November Press Up challenge to raise funds for LauraLynn, Ireland’s only Children’s Hospice. I’m taking on this challenge for children with life-limiting conditions, and their families, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, will help to ensure that children and their families receive the care they need at all stages of their journey - from provision of specialist therapies, short breaks, to end-of-life care and bereavement support.

Support my challenge and help make the most of short and precious lives.

Thank you!

WE'RE SO BACK

Tuesday 18th Nov
Hey everyone! The past couple of days have been hectic but I'm proud to say the 100 push ups a day to reach 3,000 is going on swimmingly. I'm so happy that it's almost over but a little sad cause it's been fun, hitting 1800 now for day 18, it's been tough posting due to exam season but we're showing up everyday to put in the work. I think the end result photo will be great!

Where I've been... Days 8, 9, 10

Monday 10th Nov
Guys it got really tough for a second, I ended up getting pretty sick and couldn't do my pushups racking up a crazy amount of 250 pushups to do or so to keep up, however I banged them out yesterday and currently finishing my last ten. It's been quite the journey and I'm so commited to see this through!

Day 6 & 7

Friday 7th Nov
Yesterday was a bit of a bust, I only got 50 pushups in as I was busy with PTSMs, but I think it's for the best.

Going to finish off the week strong with 150 pushups!!

Day 4 & 5

Wednesday 5th Nov
My T-shirt arrived! On day ten I'll do a progress post which will be cool. Other than that though, the fatigue really is hitting. I had maths grinds today so I'm extremely tired but I did some while I was there, and just finished the rest. Day 4 wasn't eventful at all to be very honest, banged them out as soon as I got home.
See you on day 7 for another update!

Day 2 & 3

Monday 3rd Nov
Yesterday was pretty easy, just dispersed the 100 throughout the day, however today the pressure is really on balancing school and study while trying to fit it in is exhausting. I regularly would do 100 push ups so it's not new however, it's no joke doing them consecutively over a couple of days. It's like an eternal pump.

I see a couple of changes already and when I get tired I always remember it's for such a great cause, it's also helping me stay focused on trying to complete the goal everyday. I'm hoping for more progress in the days to come.

Starting out...

Saturday 1st Nov
Today's the first of the month, so now that I have 3000 push ups to do with the first 100 completed, I'm going to have to try find good times to do them along with school and the rest. Hopefully it all goes well. 🙏
